Spring Gobbler Mount
My spring gobbler is up on the wall and I think it looks fantastic. It's a huge bird and a great reminder of a wonderful hunt with my friend Skip.

My Brother's Eight Point
My brother John picked up his eight point buck yesterday from our taxidermist. The buck was taken with his Parker Crossbow in 2010. Great job John.

Taxidermy
Today my friend and taxidermist Jim dropped off my eight point buck that I was fortunate enough to take with my crossbow last October. As you can see, he looks fantastic between my mule deer and nine point, which were taken prior to my injury.
It's a beautiful example of taxidermy and a trophy I will enjoy viewing the rest of my life. Being able to harvest this spectacular buck from my power chair using a crossbow is something I will always remember and be proud of.

Mount Your Own Antlers
Outdoor Life has a great article about mounting your own antlers, it's certainly much cheaper than a full mount from a taxidermist and an excellent way to preserve your trophy.
I can't wait until my trophy is back from the taxidermist this year. I will be posting pictures as soon as I get my eight point buck back! Please feel free to send in photos of your hunting season.
